What are VST plugins? What do I need to get them running?


VST stands for "Virtual Studio Technology" and is an audio effect standard interface
developed by Steinberg Media GmbH.

VST effects and synthesizers are plugins that you can load into many audio
editing programs and sequencers on the market. VST is currently used on Windows
and Apple Macintosh platforms, although my plugins are for Windows only.

So, to use these plugins, you will need a VST compliant host like Steinberg Cubase,
Emagic Logic or Imageline FruityLoops (there are lots more). Just extract the plugins
into the program's plugins directory and it should find them.
